Management Challenge Simulation

(Synchronous, virtual or in-person)

At the heart of the Becoming An Effective Manager Program is our Management Challenge Simulation, which gives new managers a hands-on, competitive space to practice coaching and giving feedback to direct reports. Participants engage in interactive role-plays and video-based employee conversations.

Accountability Groups

(Synchronous, virtual or in-person)

Participants benefit from ongoing support and growth from groups of their peers also participating in the program. Through guided discussions and continued practice, participants deeply retain program takeaways.

Leadership Self-Assessment

(Asynchronous, online)

Program participants undergo TypeCoach, an interactive self-assessment experience to identify their leadership style and, most importantly, learn how they can more effectively influence others.

In a debrief with an expert facilitator, participants come together and share their learnings, dig deeper to understand how different people can best work together, and begin to apply their new skills.

Case Studies

(Synchronous, virtual or in-person)

With support from an expert facilitator, participants discuss a Harvard Business School case study on the topic of leadership and people management. Through Socratic-questioning and engaging team-based discussion, participants draw insights that can be leveraged on their own teams.
