Senior Software Engineer
Abilitie is looking for a self-motivated and high-potential Senior Software Engineer for a key role on our development team. The Senior Software Engineer, reporting to the Head of Product, will make contributions critical for the company’s continued growth and will operate with a high degree of autonomy. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with the engineering team-lead to support and expand our existing multiplayer business simulations, internal tools, automated operations, and have the unique opportunity to develop and launch a new consumer product. As part of the core of our development team, this role will also communicate regularly with members of the executive team and have a significant ability to influence the direction and shape of our products. We are looking for a solid developer with above-average business intelligence and excellent communication skills for this dynamic position. The plan is to grow the development team alongside the business, and this role will be specifically considered for advancement as the opportunities arise.
The ideal candidate has spent several years working on web applications, can draw on their varied experience to expand our team’s technical expertise, and has the flexibility required to get up to speed on our existing technologies. Experience with some of our specific toolsets is preferred but not required. Allowing for skill growth or expansion is part of the opportunity for any candidate. Our latest projects are written in React, use GraphQL Apollo or Redux, and have a NodeJS back-end connected to a PostgreSQL RDS instance. Who You Are:

Senior Manager of Learning Programs
Abilitie is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Senior Manager of Learning Programs. Reporting to the VP of Product, the Senior Manager of Learning Programs will drive Abilitie’s B2B and B2C program development with their exceptional instructional design skills, detailed project management, and innovative strategic thinking.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include:
Own the program innovation cycle
- Capture and prioritize program feedback/ideas from key stakeholders, i.e. CX, facilitators, etc.
- Manage the production and release of updates across our simulations and core programs
- Support Client Operations in the delivery of quarterly facilitator network calls/updates as part of keeping our pedagogy world-class
Create and manage program content
- Manage Independent Contractors with specific topic expertise as needed to build and improve program materials
- Own the process of material creation, updating, and folder structure across flagship programs, essentials programs, and simulation programs
- Support CX/Sales to ensure we continue the right balance of adapting and tailoring our programs to client needs where necessary (including design adaptations monitored through external resources
Monitor program performance
- Monitor program performance to identify areas of concern and areas to update and partner with Marketing to ensure they have the data they need. This includes owning data collection (e.g. surveys, engagement, etc) and improving process over time, while building visibility for the company
- Partner with S&M to ensure we have detailed curriculum docs, Learning Objectives, and program performance data
- Partner with Client Operations on supporting faculty performance
Innovate our learning pedagogy
- Lead our work owning our perspective on pedagogy and great facilitation
- Lead our work integrating our programs into the metaverse

Client Experience Director
Abilitie is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Client Experience Director to own the customer experience of Abilitie’s flagship learning experiences that are delivered to Fortune 500 clients around the world. The Client Experience Director must think strategically about driving customer growth and engagement while minimizing customer churn; this includes a healthy balance of program design and sales. The role will report to the VP of Operations and will require excellent client communication, consultative selling, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, guide clients through the design and delivery of our experiences, and develop new business from existing clients.
- Own the cultivation and growth of long-term relationships with clients to drive client retention and grow Abilitie’s business within each client account. Must be able to show previous success in an account management or sales capacity.

About the role:
Abilitie is looking for a Client Experience Manager to help scale our fast-growing company based in Austin, TX. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role touching all three end customers of Abilitie – corporate clients, end-participant users, and our global faculty network. You’ll provide high-touch, best-in-class experiences for each while delighting them through Abilitie’s unique and exciting suite of products.

- Supporting and growing our global faculty network of subject matter experts through onboarding, skill refinement and community building

Regional Sales Director
Abilitie is looking for a highly innovative and experienced business development professional for a key role within our organization as a Regional Sales Director. Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you will be responsible for the business development efforts in one of our geographic regions. This is a critical role that requires the right balance of sales prospecting, strategic thinking, comfort with buying conversations, and a strong roll-up your sleeves ‘get it done’ mentality. The right person will work well in a fast-paced atmosphere that allows you to create, innovate, and contribute your expertise to shape the growth of our organization.

- Interfacing with in-bound leads to understand potential avenues for us to integrate our solutions to add value to organizations in their talent development efforts.
- Understand our simulation and leadership programs and be able to speak confidently about how they can be used in virtual and in-person training settings.
- Creatively find ways to interact with potential buyers of our simulation by adding value through email, social media, and other channels to drive additional conversations for our organization in your region.

Recruiter
Abilitie is looking for a full-time Recruiter to help scale our fast growing company based in Austin, TX. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will support internal hiring across multiple states for marketing, sales, operations, and product teams as well as external faculty consultants across the globe. You’ll partner with executive leaders to understand hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, build robust pipelines of diverse talent, and close candidates. You’ll provide a high touch, best in class candidate experience while helping them understand Abilitie’s unique and exciting suite of products and company culture.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting processes including partnering with hiring managers to draft job descriptions, create & execute targeted sourcing strategies, build robust & diverse candidate pipelines across multiple business units, lead initial screening of candidates, actively participate in candidate feedback sessions, and oversee candidate closing/offer stage.
- Provide a high touch, best in class candidate experience throughout the vetting, hiring, and onboarding process.
- Partner with our Client Experience team to drive referrals for, vet, and build upon our global faculty network of facilitators and technical producers.

Who You Are:
Experienced: 3+ years of experience working in an in-house recruiting a wide variety of roles including marketing, sales, operations and engineering. (Fast-paced agile environment is a plus.) (Contract) Client Support Specialist
About the role:
Our Client Support Specialists (CSS) manage program logistics and professional communications across clients, end-user participants, faculty, producers, and internal stakeholders. This person is an obsessively organized, tech-savvy problem solver who understands that the detailed nature of their work is highly valued and an essential element of our success. Our CSSs work as independent contractors: the role is remote, paid hourly and the hours can vary from week to week depending on the needs of the company and our clients, averaging 30-35 hours. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Client Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize an ownership mindset to to create ‘raving fans’ of the client program through exceptional communication and systems management.
- Manage program logistics for one or more high-value clients, including session scheduling, staffing assignments, Zoom assignments, calendar invitations, and participant roster management.
- Proactively communicate with program participants and respond to emails and questions with a professional and inviting tone in a timely manner
- Fluency with our primary work productivity tools: Google Suite, Zoom admin, Box and Slack.
- Stay ahead of client requests and logistical changes to keep programs running smoothly.
- Provide timely feedback and problem solving for process improvement and outstanding client outcomes.
- Available to work beginning at 8:00AM Central Time with flexibility to work odd hours during peak client engagement periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with program administration and data management.
- Exceptional client service skills and a technical aptitude.

(Contract) Program Facilitator
Abilitie is looking for engaging, energetic, and skilled contract facilitators to lead 1-4 day simulation-based business training programs through virtual collaboration. Facilitators are asked to teach concrete principles of management, leadership, and business acumen using one of our team-based business simulations. Facilitators are trained on the program content by our staff and are asked to become familiar with leadership and/or business acumen course content in areas such as business strategy, team and group leadership, financial statements and ratio analysis, basic return on investment analysis, and/or similar leadership and financial business acumen topics.
Most programs are currently delivered virtually although there may be opportunities for in-person facilitation in the future. While we are unable to guarantee the number of programs/hours worked as it depends on our clients’ varying needs, we aim to accommodate individual preferences for assignment frequency.
Abilitie onboards facilitators in quarterly cohorts. This position is offered on a contract basis – it is not full-time, nor benefits eligible.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead 1-4 day training workshops for participants on leadership and business acumen topics with authority and confidence
- Administer Abilitie’s computer-based business simulations and debrief results with the class both onsite and remotely
- Travel to on-site locations around the US and world depending on availability and travel preferences (typically clients cover all travel expenses and offer additional compensation for international travel)
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree/MBA strongly preferred
- Teaching and/or training experience. You must have both a desire to teach and a demonstrated aptitude in teaching leadership and/or financial concepts
- Prior managerial experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal communication ability and aptitude in managing a classroom or online learning space designed for up to 40 participants
- High comfort level with dynamic, case-study based lecture and discussion format
- 1-2 years of experience with virtual deliveries is required and high participant engagement is a must
